ABOUT MINOT AREA COMMUNITY LAND TRUST
Thanks to generous funding from the State after the 2011 flood, Minot Area Community Land Trust (CLT) was created and given the opportunity to assist with creating affordable homes for our community. As a 501c3-designated nonprofit organization, Minot Area CLT provides perpetually affordable home ownership opportunities to families in the area earning low-moderate income. This program is for first time home buyers and assists them with home ownership throughout their tenure.
MINOT AREA CLT MISSION
MINOT AREA CLT TODAY
Minot Area CLT is a sub-recipient of funds through the City of Minot National Disaster Resilience Program, which will allow the addition of 10 homes to our portfolio before the end of 2021.
Interested in purchase a MACLT home?
Homes available through our NDR program will be priced at levels affordable to low-income buyers (under 80% area median income). Buyers will still need to qualify for a mortgage through a CLT approved lender, which will require a credit score of approximately 640 or higher, and adequate debt-to-income levels.
For more information, review our Eligibility page, or contact Emily at firstname.lastname@example.org.
