MACLT: Making homeownership affordable for limited income households in Ward County.​

CLT homeownership is a lot like market-rate homeownership, with two unique characteristics:
  1. MACLT retains ownership of the land on which a CLT home sits, and
  2. In exchange for an affordable price at the time of purchase, MACLT homeowners agree to share the appreciation on their home based on a flat-rate resale formula. This provides a guaranteed return of 2.5% per year to the homeowner, while allowing the CLT to sell the home at an affordable price again at resale.
